10. Khloe Buys Lamar a Victory Rolls Royce


 Not only does Lamar Odom get a championship ring for helping his Los Angeles Lakers win the 2010 NBA championship, but he reportedly got a shiny, new Rolls Royce as well – thanks to his wife, Khloe Kardashian. The star E!’s reality shows “Keeping up with the Kardashians” and “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” plunked down a reported $400,000 for a “drop-top coupe, white on white…fabulous” Rolls, according to Khloe’s mom Kris Jenner. If you think that Sarah Palin and her Tea Party followers only endorse white Republican wing nut wackjobs, you’re wrong. Sometimes she endorses black Republican wing nut wackjobs. For example, Star Parker. Parker is running for Congress in California and recently gained the endorsement of America’s favorite clueless former vice presidential candidate. Read more


7. Racist High School Prank Leads to Two Graduation Ceremony Bans and One Arrest


Kids will be kids, but when a gag goes too far, the joke might wind up getting the pranksters in hot water. A racist joke gone bad at Auburn-Riverside High School in Auburn, Wash., led to two students being suspended and barred from graduation and another arrested. Read more …


6. ‘Brown bloggers’ group gets a White House meet and greet


More than 60 small-site bloggers met Friday with Jesse Lee, director of the White House’s Online Programs, and Corey Ealons, White House director of African American Media, while in the District for Blogging While Brown. Jada Pinkett Smith visited “The View” on Monday to discuss the season premiere of her TNT series “HawthoRNe,” her spicy marriage to Will Smith and her son Jaden’s performance in “The Karate Kid” – particularly his first on-screen kiss. 2. LA Teacher  Makes  Algebra Cool with a Hip-Hop Beat


LOS ANGELES (AP) — The class of eighth graders at a Los Angeles middle school tap their rulers and nod their heads to the rhythm of the rap video projected on a screen. It’s not Snoop Dogg or Jay-Z. It’s their math teacher, LaMar Queen, using rhyme to help them memorize seemingly complicated algebra and in the process improve their grades. “It gets stuck in your head,” says Cindy Martinez, a 14-year-old whose math grade went from a C-average to a B. Queen, 26, is now known at Los Angeles Academy as the rap teacher, but his fame has spread far beyond the 2,200-student school in this gritty neighborhood.
