BlackTopTens.com

For the past 3 years, my friends and I have been exchanging top-ten lists ranging from top-ten favorite athletes to top ten favorite movies.
Recently, after years of exchanging top ten lists, I began to consider developing a blog solely for top-ten lists.
I felt that by having an internet presence, comments and opinions about the top-ten lists would not be limited to my circle of friends but would be open for insight from all those who visited the blog.
After going online and researching top-ten lists, I realized that there wasn’t a single top-ten list that featured African Americans.
Therefore, as of February 1, 2010, we have BlackTopTens.com, A Top Ten List That Features African Americans.
I hope you find BlackTopTens to be insightful, interesting and a lot of fun to discuss and debate. I also encourage you to share your thoughts, opinions and comments regarding the lists.

This is a GREAT site/blog. I can’t think of anything I’d rather do (during my down time)than checking these on a regular basis to get a pulse on how we, as African Americans, think and feel about the categories featured.

Although many of us have bias, skewed, different views, a seeming concensus can be obtained through dialogue via this blog. Since we are fragmented as a people/race, the hope is that technology and applications such as this can & will BRING US TOGETHER over time!

We need more participation…please pass on to others who would like to contibute!!
